"Belle!" Julia giggled a little, this being one of the rare times she had gotten drunk. "This guy… He was telling me something… and then you came!" She grinned, laying her head on the woman’s shoulder. "I didn’t know you were here…"
She got behind the wheel and drove over to Granny’s. “You’re lucky I’ve been brushing up on other languages…” she joked. “Gods…you are a right mess…” She parked the car and moved around to help her friend.
Julia mumbled something in a different language, the one she claimed to have lost from her past. If Belle asked, she probably couldn’t translate it. When the car stopped, Julia just grinned, pushing herself up with some help from her friend. “You have no idea,” she managed through her laughter.
Alright, I did some extremely bad Voice acting of Julia here.
I promise it is not a screamer.
omg where in the world are her screencaps do you think you could submit some because I literally cannot find aNy DX
I’ve had to look for any images period by looking at youtube videos.
Nik watched her with a grin again. She was… exquisite. If he was a different man, he would have been on one knee, asking for her hand in marriage.
"I would imagine that she is on some people’s totems." That was true, but how would Julia react to such a bold statement? He wanted her to know… But dragging her into this world… Maker, he should have just kept his mouth shut. This was no game for mortals to play.
"And he is bad news." His personal hatred for the being was clouding his judgement. "The worst. Professor, if he ever comes to you… run. He’ll make you think you’re safe and protected, then he’ll tear your heart out and eat it in front of you."
Nik ran his hand through his hair- he and Em had the same mannerisms, a strange side effect of sharing the same soul. “She is very cautious, and has tried her best to keep away from him… but I am beginning to believe he is in a similar situation as her. She is prepared for the day when he will ruin her, but she is too loyal to even discard him after that comes, I know it.”
He shook his head. “Apologies, Professor. It is not my place, and you do not need to hear of my marital troubles.” They were kind of married. In a sense of being one.
He tilted his head to the side to look to the woman- truly look at her this time. She was… human. Completely. But there was… Maker, he should have just brought Em with him. She could see those things better than him. “Now, you have been endlessly helpful. Do you have any questions for me? I believe I may have some insights into matters that interest you.” Namely the past.
"Please, call me Julia…" She nodded softly as she listened to him continue. She had the feeling that the man he referred to was not human, but it was probably the feeling her Guides were giving to her.
"I am always careful around others, but thank you." When he apologized, she just shook her head. "Don’t worry, I do not mind." She really didn’t. She had a lot of people who, apparently, liked her, but very few talked to her about such problems.
When he asked about her questions, she couldn’t help but laugh. “If only you knew, a’kana…” She picked up her notebook and let him see it. “I have nearly ten books like this full of notes on subjects I have lectured over and studied… There are too many things I wish to know about, but they are all about the ancient past.”
